It's not due to rambus, it's most likely due to their policy on sw of keeping tight control and, thus, discouraging 3rd parties. This has resulted in very few game titles being developed for N64. But Nintendo has hardly been an advertisement for Rambus although it is the only product in production today which uses Rambus licensd technology. (Of course, there will soon be many.)
