Your Point is well taken, I do want to make clear as per my last post techstocks.com At no time in nothing I have written do I defend the Davidains right to do what they did. David when confronted should have raised his hands palms forward and invited the ATF in. As I'm afraid some of what I said may be construed by some to think I'm defending the David's action. I think he was wrong but because of circumstances leading up to the raid he was unable to realize he had a responsibility to surrender, to some extent his attitude was shaped and manipulated by people smarter than him but his ego wouldn't let him see it. ------------- My remark had not the gung ho, wanabe kick assers, & lets make a name for ourself freaks that hide their sadistic nature behind a badge, who were itching for a fire fight. was over stated; while we do get those kinds of freaks in law enforcement as it's almost unavoidable, it sure is not meant to reflect my feelings towards the majority of law officers, a big problem as I see it is when we do get the "power trip" types it's almost impossible to weed them out. Additionally their aggressive nature often has them working their way to top positions. Jim
