Taken individually I'm sure the men in the FBI and ATF (well, at least the FBI) are decent family men, and I'm sure men in both agencies don't enjoy killing children. Its what happens when they converge as a mob that is chilling. I have read that Lon Horiuchi (the guy who pulled the trigger on Vicki Weaver) is a devout Catholic and dedicated to his family. He was astonished at his condemnation by the right. He was simply a man who was a skilled sniper who was doing his job. He was just following orders. One is reminded of the excuses used at the Nuremburg trials. It should be chilling to every American that these people were seen as enemies of the State as if we were at war and any tactic used was justified.
