Rumours that make sense... as reported first by The-Adviser.com several months ago, there is increased discussion again of an acquisition of Novell by America Online or Computer Associates. A purchase of Novell by AOL makes strategic sense and would leverage the purchase of Netscape that took place not so long ago. AOL is looking to expand and dominate other markets in order to replace the potential loss of annuity revenue. We believe such a deal would benefit AOL and Novell. independent-adviser.com well, these are the first rumours I personally believe. At the current price this would be a big bargain for AOL. The good thing is, that AOL certainly understands Novellïs technology and potential. Food for thought.... Christian
