Did you happen to see the show "This Week" today? I came in a little late. They had some sort of republican focus group, I was wondering what the setup was for that, if any. Because the group they chose was largely homogeneous, somewhat representative of the right-wing bigot stereotype... all white... all over 50. They were all moderately pro-gun, saw abortion as one of many issues/didn't care, resented Forbes for his wealth. It would be ok if they presented it as a focus group of "conservative republicans from NH", etc. You didn't get much of a feel for a big tent from these folks... and they weren't exactly dripping with key insights either.
