re JFK (the first one that is) I read that JFK was going to stop the horrid Viet Nam war too. I think he was a great president, even if short lived. But JFK JR was just a good looking rich guy, not really deserving of being an "icon" of the country....actually maybe just our moms and dads (assuming a good childhood) should be our icons anyway, we know them a lot better so its more realistic. Reagan did much for our economy,,,,but he passed the first asset forfeiture bill. For that I quit the Repub Party and became a Libertarian...I could see what was coming, and it has. Freeus
