I've found your posts rather enjoyable to read and well reasoned. I can only hope that my comments in responding to the personalities of the victors(?) did not convey any attitudes which might lead one to think I think of myself as "holier than thou".

I do however tend to believe that your description seems to fit quite well with what I think of law enforcement on a more local level. They seem to strike me as individuals who really don't give a flying F what my rights are, and will most likely get only reprimanding disciplinary action on the rare occasions people speak up against such situations.

Instead of "Serve and Protect", I think "Intimidate and Bully" would be more appropriate (or is it that I just have a low opinion of those in law enforcement on a local and county level based on situations from personal experience.)
