NEON's Convoy/DM Receives
Integration Certification From PeopleSoft
DENVER, Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- New Era of Networks, Inc. (Nasdaq: NEON - news) today
announced that its data migration and interfacing tool, Convoy/DM(TM), has been certified by
PeopleSoft's Partner Integration Team (PIT Crew) for use with PeopleSoft Financials, Distribution,
Manufacturing, Human Resources, and Student Administration. NEON is currently the only
Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) vendor to receive this comprehensive integration
certification for data migration and interfacing technology.

PeopleSoft Certified Software Integrations provide PeopleSoft customers with a tested interface
between the partner's software and PeopleSoft applications. Certified integration solutions meet
PeopleSoft's technical and design standards and have passed PeopleSoft integration testing.

Convoy/DM is a comprehensive metadata repository that stores data structures for PeopleSoft and
other enterprise applications. It simplifies the task of developing and maintaining application
interfaces by defining and creating simple or complex inter-application interfaces.
Convoy/DM reduces the time and effort of data conversion and interface development, deployment,
and maintenance by as much as 75 percent. These interfaces often require data from many different
file types on many different platforms. Convoy/DM manages all the file types enterprise applications
need to interface with, including relational databases, flat files, and hierarchical files. It is certified for
all PeopleSoft industry applications including Financials, Distribution, Manufacturing, Human
