Yes, selling puts, very short term, i.e. for later the same month, i.e. sometimes with these runups they can just practically go down to nothing in a few weeks (if I'd sold the 155's when I'd meant to, they would have been practically worthless a week later)--then you can buy them back, keeping a good profit, rather than riding volatility and waiting for them to expire completely.

I understand your nervousness about Q longterm--there is some debate on whether it is really the kind of gorilla that MSFT or INTC are. From all the posts on the Q thread it looks pretty positive but there are some thoughtful detractors. Clealry the expectations are huge and Q is vulnerable if it falters even slightly. So I guess we just keep a close watch on it.

I personally feel most safe of all with MSFT, that's why I just add to position from time to time, and never trade it.
