Planet City Y2K Sales Program to Benefit Non-Profits

SEDONA, Ariz., Aug. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Planet City Corp. (OTC Bulletin Board: PINC) is pleased to announce an innovative product sales and revenue sharing program designed to benefit non-profit organizations.

Terry Dennis, President and CEO of Planet City, said, "The Year 2000 (Y2K) has created an unfortunate situation where most PC owners are exposed to the 'millennium bug', and must take corrective action or suffer the consequences of the bug. Planet City markets and sells the Millennium Bug Compliance Kit (MBCK), a product which provides a comprehensive solution for the Y2K problem. Demand for the product is steadily increasing as we get closer to December 31, 1999.

"One of our corporate objectives in support of our Mission Statement is to be a socially responsible organization, 'giving back' to the community by supporting non-profit organizations (NPOs) when possible. In accordance with that philosophy, we at Planet City are enthusiastically supporting a revenue sharing program that provides income from MBCK sales to non-profit organizations which register for the program."

NPOs can use this program as a focal point of their fund-raising activities. To register for the program, interested organizations agree to promote the sales of MBCK through their fund-raising efforts. This includes, but is not limited to, Press Releases, newsletters, mailings to their benefactors, mass emails, and FAX blasts. In return, Planet City donates a large portion of the revenue from each product sold due to the NPOs involvement. When a buyer provides a code unique to the NPO during the purchase process, the buyer receives a discounted purchase price, and the NPO receives a donation from the sale.

"We are very excited about this opportunity Planet City has given us to benefit from the sales of their Y2K product," stated Don Hall, Executive Director of the Northern Arizona Boys and Girls Clubs. "Cause related marketing programs from companies such as Planet City are crucial to our fund-raising efforts."

Larry Kerychuk, Executive Director of Athletes International Ministries (AIM), said, "Special thanks to Planet City for including us in their generous revenue sharing program on the sales of their Y2K software. It's this type of corporate sponsorship that enables us to use our professional athletes' influence to reach the inner-city youth."

NPOs interested in registering for the NPO revenue sharing program can contact terrydennis@planetcity.com for more information.

The MBCK product can be purchased and downloaded from the product's website at mbck.com.
