It's an interesting observation of yours that some environments are more conducive to 'kooky' posts than others.

Iomega may be attracting more than it's share of such posts because it's gone from the 50's to the teens in a few months--possibly leaving many people in a frame of mind as you described above.

Perhaps your insight goes a long way in explaining the observation I made in the charter of this thread about Iomgea attracting kooks for reasons I didn't understand.
