Well, it should be obvious where I've read about them, as I try to keep up with new developments in inflammation, inflammatory arthritis, and the immune system in general. I couldn't figure out whether inhibiting metalloproteases was a good thing or a bad thing. I assumed it was a good thing, at least for me, because there's recent work on minocycline and other tetracycline derivatives that suggests that they inhibit RA because they are metalloprotease inhibitors. Thanks.
