And I have seen Republicans under the pressure of such as Falwell seek a mandatory "moment of silence" or something. Imo that is insidious ... it requires real courage by a disinclined youngster to "opt out" of such a situation. School should be neutral ground. If kids wanna pray in school - I won't complain so long as they do it after hours and behind a closed door.
