Greg:

There have been any number of EPS posts on the Rambus thread in the past. It is typically muddied by wide estimates of what the DRAM market could be worth, etc. Some estimate DRAM market worth ~ $40million/yr, and Rambus owning 50% of this as early as late next year, as late as 2001.

Speaking generally, Rambus in 1999 should earn about $.30-.32/share. Next year, estimates range to about $.80- 1.20/share; the year after, about $6-12/share. Wide ranges have to do with the slope of Rambus ramp-up, the % share of DRAM market Rambus achieves, and with the revenues of DRAM (which are subject to price volatility). Share price is helped by the fact that the total number of shares is small, ~ 23-25 million.
