i can't resist asking, karen, how many 'minor inconveniences' all occurring simultaneously would it take to screw in a lightbulb, i.e., help y2k doubters see the light? 3 minors=1 major? 6 minors=1 major? what constitutes a 'minor' and what a 'major?' how long is a little bit inconvenient and how long is major P.I.A.? reminds me of ron bragging about spending 5 months in the jungle. like that is relevant to a y2k discussion!! what did he do? take a wrong turn between Econ 101 and Psych 101 class one fall day in '62 at harvard and then not return for 5 months? or did bragging ron get extensive 'training' prior to that 5 month south east asia camping trip? looking forward to another interesting response.
