If I were privvy to the trade secrets of the top tier players in the memory industry (which I am not), I wouldn't be giving away information, bp. You can reasonably presume that none of them relishes the prospect of sending buckets of money to rmbs if it can be avoided.

If there is no way around Intel's architecture, and if a killer app comes along that requires rdram performance levels, rmbs will make its investors very rich.

I'm on the sidelines, so I have not come to any conclusions. If you have, you should back your beliefs.
