DS, how about labeling the whole move up from the october low a "B"?
it had all the ingredients, deteriorating breadth,weak NH/NL, widespread complacency. if we now get an equally large "C" down, we should be headed below the october '97 low. this possibility was discussed in a different forum and i just repeat what i gleaned from there. the author of the proposal went on to state that if this count was correct, a strong advance should be expected once the lows of this "C" wave are hit.
