Eric, I just spoke with ETrade, who on most occasions is just as bad as NDB on these matters.
I had 80,000 AVAL in one account which ETrade had converted to 10,000 STAY. Then the change was made showing 8,500 STAY and adding back the 80,000 AVAL. ETrade says today that the 80,000 AVAL are "in escrow". I am assuming this means they have placed all of the 80,000 back on the record "in escrow" so that when they get instructions to release the remaining 15% (in three stages of 5% each), they will do so based on the 80,000 AVAL held in escrow.
In addition, the 8,500 STAY show NO restrictions whatsoever.
So, unless I am reading this wrong, it would appear that ETrade has completed the transaction properly. Am I right or wrong?
