How much bandwidth will a holographic image take? Like I said, if you can pin down what the computing industry see as their needs more than 2 years out, then you will have the ability to tell me the winning lottery numbers, who going to win the National Championship, World Series and presidential elections!
Ironic, but one of the industries visionaries, Vint Cerf, is convinced that you will be wearing a batman type belt powering all sorts of wireless devices in a few short years. I'm not sure I share that view, as I'm into the more simplistic forms of being an ameoba these days. If you are the only one that is listening and understanding that the wireless revolution is continuing, evolving and doesn't just include QCOM, then that is a fair enough audience. It means that you don't have a myopic view of the world and that should help you make clear headed decisions as this revolution unfolds.
Ironic, but I saw some smuck this morning on CNBC, who claims QCOM has 950 patents and everytime you hear wireless that is them. One of the more irresponsible money managers in recent times.... Where was he a year ago or two, and what was his position then? Probably in Ericsson with the same misguided thought process. |
