A Mickey Mouse question:

I've been going through mice at an alarming (for me, anyway) rate. My emachine mouse lasted about 2 months and a "Chic" $7 mouse lasted about 4 months. I think I had a Mitsumi that lasted a year or so. I think my problem may relate to cat hair, although I try to clean the gunk off the 3 moving parts that most mice seem to have. Any suggestions? Is there a Toyota of mice, i.e. bullet or cat-proof ones?
