Re ADSP: Now that the day's craziness is over, it might be worth pointing-out that there appears to have been no rational (yes, the "R" word) reason for this stock to have suddenly made this run TODAY.

As far as I can tell, the excitement is based entirely on a FOUR-MONTH-OLD press-release about Ariel's ties to RedHat, which just seems to have gone un-noticed at the time and has now been cleverly "resurrected" (I'd love to know who BEGAN its re-distribution today).

Yes -- in case anybody didn't notice, that PR was first issued on APRIL 27-th. The date's right on it, and is confirmed by checking the PR's at Ariel's website. In fact the company's most RECENT PR was all the way back on August 9-th, when it announced the hiring of a new Vice-Chairman.

I'm certainly happy for everyone who made-out-well with it today (and wish I were among them, but I missed it) -- I just find it incredibly amusing, not to mention a little scary, that a run like this can be triggered simply by someone suddenly dredging up and "recycling" an old and previously-overlooked news item. More power to them, I guess... :)
