Slotting fee`s are something I never bothered to bring up. Only because I didnt believe even the head cheerleaders would understand. And a funny thing about slotting fees is they are NOT returned if the stores decide to remove the product for most any reason. I dont know but I suspect MILK will use the accounting practice of amortizing them over years rather than expensing them as they go.
Another point I want to bring up... I say AVOID most ANY pinksheet or bb stock which offers projections way into the future with NO track record. Its been my experience that 100% of those that do so are more interested in promoting the stock than enything else.
I own about 3 dozen stocks. And I keep in close contact with the CFO`s at most of them. Its funny how NONE will offer projetions 3 years into the future let alone wildly optimistic ones.
Best I can usually get is that they`ll "bless" street estimates for the current year but even then they offer caveats. And ususally its only the NYSE issues that do that.
I own one little company with a 12 year history of profitablily and yet they wont project anything. But then again, they are there to run the business and not promote the paper (stock).
I remember a little bb issue called medgroup MDGP. They called for EPS of 50 cents per share in the next year even though they had no sales . tHE STOCK was around 75 cents then. I warned people it was a scam and sure enough , they`ve never had any real sales let alone earnings. The management of these companys are holding CHEAP paper and will do just about anything to convert their worthless paper into cash. They KNOW that the projetions are nothing but hot air.
Finally I want to encourage people to read business weeks Dec 16.1996 issue about the mob and wall street. Then you`ll get an even better idea of how these things go down. I suspect , but cannot prove, that MILK has mob connections. But who am I to suggest that eveything in Vegas isnt squeaky clean ? (g)
MILK has proven itself to have very questionable management if not criminal. Their actions speak much louder than the bought and paid for hype.
I too have NEVER heard a single reputable company tout itself on the radio.
Sorry sportsfans, but the STINK is oozing from every direction when it comes to MILK. More than enough reasons to AVOID the stock like the plauge.
I have no doubt that MILK holders who sell today will be much happier than those holding in 12-24 months. Unless, of course, one is attempting to rid himself of wordly positions in an attempt to get to heaven. But even in that case I`m sure there are more worthy charities than MILK`s promoters or insiders !
All the above adds up to....RED FLAG WARNING !!!!!!!!!!
