Sorry to hear about virus. I have McAffee too, and co incidentally, I just bought new version of Guard Dog this weekend @ Staples (cheap, too).

Anyway, I apparently had a virus (which, luckily I hadn't opened up the file) which "got past" McAfee . . . but fortunately for me, my new Guard Dog saw it ... barked at it a few times . . . then BIT IT (warned me and deleted it without opening it).

It does a check up every time you boot up . . . and cleans your internet trail automatically (cache and cookies) upon your shutting down at nite.

Thought it might be worth telling you.
