Yes! THere is this intake of breath as it happens---and then the "aaaah" as it enters the water again. And then this kind of group adrenalin rush. Becuase it's so outside our daily experience and we all feel it together. This is a really personal ressponse to the ocean, but I have always found it to be a very spiritual place, one that is restorative, and inspirational, and calming all at the same time.
