They DO need to be championed. Idiots put together legislature like SB15 and SB23, and our governor is happy to sign them. Ordinary law-abiding gun owners are the losers. If nobody stands and speaks, the 2nd Amendment will be turned into so much hieroglyphics. I won't talk about the drugs - you know I am agin the oppressive/repressive drug policies our Federal government is ramrodding. But the text of your original complaint was such that you were excoriating each perceived policy on its own, not necessarily the combination. I do want to say that guns and their lawful owners are in desperate need of clear and courageous voices speaking in their cause. There is a remarkably pervasive campaign in "polite society" to disassociate civil arms from their innocent and proper uses. Look at the effect upon you ... you didn't hesitate to associate the entire collective idea of guns with the misdeeds of a series of well-publicized JERKS who engaged in splashy violent acts. With guns of various descriptions. OK I'm done; thanks for listening.
