Maybe the nicest cyber degree now available is the MBA from Duke. It costs about $40,000, meets in New York and London and Durham for about 6 weeks total livein and is otherwise on the web. Check it out. My guess is that the state schools will be too slow and cheap to get off the dime, and that the really greedy, selective private schools will take over the cyber trade. Economies of scale. Economies of snobbery. Harvard can drive the MBA price down so far that no one can compete with them. The Graduate School of Business now makes perhaps $100 million profit a year. Why should they let anyone else compete? Business schools are fundamentally businesses and know how to play the business game. Watch them. They'll lead the way.
