I think Japan has been and is doing quite well in manufacturing, marketing, and also electronics. What is changing mainly, I believe, is shifting attention to software.

Nikkei will keep on swinging around 18K until yen close to 110. When reach 110, it should hang around there stable a bit, and we shall see Nikkei move up. I hope it will stay at 110 until end of the year. If so, Nikkei should be over 19K by end of the year. Gut feeling? Calculation? analysis?
