I won't try and minimize the situation, the schedules slips were obviously bad. I'm don't have insight to what happened but I can only guess that the project was much greater than anticipated and they did a bad job of estimating the work involved.

I'm not sure what you mean but if Intel is really able to demo a working system soon, it will really make a statement that Intel's simulation environment is truly world class. It's hard to convey the difficulty in running system level simulations on an entirely new architecture, or even a new version of an existing architecture. If (big IF) they have a working system on A0 silicon this is truly a groundbreaking achievement. Again, how long did it take for AMD to demo a K7?
