Hey wouldn't it be a hoot is see something like this for violations of rules of fair practice, misleading advertisements & statements, improper and unwarranted forecasts and recommendations .... At issue are statements and posts to public Internet chat rooms (Nmaes of the organized bashers)made in recommending the short sale and or sale of a security. The SEC found these organized bashers violated rule 10b5 by: (1) failing to provide a sound basis for evaluating the facts underlying their public postings and sale recommendation, ; (2) referring improperly to the results of previous specific recommendations without disclosing certain information (3) making exaggerated and unwarranted claims and using unwarranted superlatives; (4) making improper comparisons by referring to previous specific recommendations and implying comparable future results for their current recommendation; and (5) making specific predictions and projections concerning future investment results. LOL ... would that be a hoot! :-) GB
