GBIX - Report of Visit to Their Main Operations in NYC
(deja vu of IMCL)

Place: 139 Center St., NYC, across from police station - interesting

Initial comment: Some posters named "friendofanemployee" and "blehon" have posted several inaccuracies and/or unsupported statements. The first poster, the company stated, they believe is an ex-employee as the postings occured shortly after that employee was fired for wrong doings.

Example of an inaccuracy/unsupported statement:

"Additionally, while the datacenter is asthetically unbelievable it is not structurally sound. This was proven by the fact that the water detection system did not detect the water leak which ended up "dripping" into the Earthweb Cage."

How structure and detection are directly and solely related is puzzling - perhaps could be expressed better.

"dripping" - well, if the cages stand erect as I saw, then dripping into the cage would mean the water would have to come from above and likely there would be water marks on the ceiling.
(a) I saw no water sprinklers on the ceiling (and in fact it is a dry fire extinguishing building, approved by the NY Fire Department).
(b) I saw no watermarks on the ceiling.
(c) The cages are NOT marked, as a security precaution. Gheez, no surprise that that poster knows where the EarthWeb cage is. Ya, right, buddy.

More to follow.
