Sounds like sour grapes to me. If you can't stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen. These drilling plays are speculative, don't let anyone tell you they aren't. The Forum project that you're referring to has had its share of problems. To review, the initial well stopped short of the planned City Zone because the race track was starting its season and needed the parking lot. That was unavoidable, as was the water encroachment in the upper zones. The rest of it is bargaining with Hollywood Park and city councils for the right to drill another well. We can't predict the outcome. I should tell you that CWQ is far more balanced in its property portfolio than Shamrock, and management has the best intentions for its shareholders. These stocks do have tremendous volatility, that's why investors are so attracted to them. My best advice after some 20 years in the Canadian markets is, don't fall in love with the story and don't get involved in a bidding contest, especially in the heat of the moment. Let common sense prevail, do your buying when prices are down and under accumulation, and sell into the promotion, especially when it gets overdone. This takes a lot of training and self-discipline, but it's a must if you expect to survive and profit in these markets. As for legal rights, unless you've been coerced or have given trading discretion, it's pretty hard to cry foul play. If we're adults we have to accept responsibility for our trading decisions. Best regards.
