This recent research alert has me baffled. It lists the projected 2000 EPS and 2001 EPS as $4.00-$6.75. I thought NXTL was projected to lose money as far as the analysts projected. In fact, the consensus EPS for 2000 is -2.96. What am I missing?

RESEARCH ALERT-Nextel price target raised

NEW YORK, Aug 31 (Reuters) - Paine Webber Inc. said on Tuesday it had raised its price target on Nextel Communications Inc. to $83 from $73.

-- Price target raised due to 2001 cash flow estimate being upped to $2.4 billion from $2.1 billion.

-- Raised fiscal year 2000 EPS estimate to $4.00 from $3.95.

-- Raised fiscal year 2001 EPS estimate to $6.75 from $5.90.

-- Raised fiscal year 1999 revenue estimate to $3.24 billion from $3.16 billion.

-- Raised fiscal year 2000 revenue estimate to $4.6 billion from $4.4 billion.

-- Raised fiscal year 2001 revenue estimate to $6.1 billion from $5.3 billion.

-- "We expect Nextel to post over 40 percent revenue growth and triple its cash flow next year."

-- Shares of Nextel were trading up $1-2/16 at $57-5/16 on Tuesday morning on Nasdaq.
