You may think Clinton's a perjurer, etc. but the US has suffered no "disasters" in the past several years, unless we're severely devaluing the word disaster. Most of the people I know are socking away their money in 401k's, traveling all over the country or to Europe, and buying new cars. And these are ordinary middle class people!!!!!

Americans are so coddled and obnoxiously spoiled that many do nothing but sit around and complain that they aren't even more affluent. Go work in a coal mine as my father did, and see how many hours that leaves you to spin conspiracies about Clinton killing Vince Foster, the evil ATF out to kill children at WACO, etc. Go work as a sharecropper, and you'll see how often you could devote your bleeding and blistered hands to posting your obsessions on the Internet about how government officials are "persecuting" you. So spoiled!!!!!! Most people in other countries sit around dreaming about living the daily lives we lead here. But what do I hear all day--grousing, complaining, unappreciative ingrates!

National disasters????? How about the Depression, World War Two, the Influenza Epidemic of 1919 (one million dead at least); the Polio Scares of the first half of this century, the waning efficacy of antibiotics. Those are disasters!!!!

But, maybe I'm wrong. Tell me how you're suffering in your daily life as a result of all the multiple national disasters that have impacted you recently. I can't go on..the tears are welling up already thinking about the hardships I'm about to hear....
