A bit of all three. How can you analyze or calculate the new mood in Japan towards better financial disclosure and the moving away from investing in 'sister' companies?

I should be eating my words of yesterday but, paradoxically, the steep fall off last night justified some of what I said as it was prompted by sell offs in the internationals such as Sony and there was comment that the weakness was prompted by nervousness that a brake in the US economy would lead to lower sales of Japanese goods in the US.

Yes, the yen in the 107-112 range seems probable at this time. I would not like to see it below 105.
