tmoney:

Still long - haven't sold a share. Been looking to add to my position here with additional shares. Posted last week on Yahoo,
8/23, post # 14776, and my view remains the same.

I think I have an understanding just which OEM's are testing/ordering the cellphone batteries and which are testing/ordering the laptop batteries and there are multiple tests of each.

Broker/adviser friend of mine just talked to someone at Energizer today and he (the officer from Energizer) stated that to their company's knowledge, "Valence is the only company that has perfected and is producing product with lithium polymer technology." He also confirmed an earlier statement that they expected the finalization of their division's sale by 9/30/99.

Weakness in the stock is due virtually solely, in my opinion, to the floorless issue, and its related margin selling pressure, which I also expect to resolved soon.

So when this works, I really don't think it matters much whether the company has 36 mm or 42 mm fully-diluted shares outstanding.

I'm patient - waited 2 1/2 years for NETE and realized > 6x on the average shares sold and 10x on some, even though 2 years into the stock, I was down 50%. You know that is true, since I talked to you about it when it was < $3 per share.

So I frankly an expecting some very nice surprises for holders which will show up later this fall and into the Christmas season. So I can wait a bit more, as I've done in the past. If you want to sell your position, go ahead and do it. The stock will settle out where it settles out, regardless of any of us posting here.
