SUNA Petroleum News Digest - Sudan Enjoys Good Oil Reserve: Chinese Oil Company Official
Khartoum, Aug. 31 (SUNA)- The First Deputy Chairman of the Chinese National Petroleum Company and head of the Chinese delegation, which participated in Sudan's celebration of the exportation of its petroleum Monday, said that Sudan is enjoying a good reserve of petroleum.
In a press statement to SUNA, the Chinese company's official indicated that the Sudanese crude is of good quality and expected to have a bright future at the international markets.
Meanwhile, he congratulated the Sudanese government and people on commencement of oil exportation, hoping that the petroleum project will consolidate further the cooperation between Sudan and China.
He said that Sudan oil project has been achieved in a record time of less than two years, thanks to the cooperation between the Sudanese, Chinese, Malaysian and Canadian companies.
He hoped the relations between Sudan and China will approach more horizons of cooperation.
The Chinese National Petroleum Company also take part in implementing the project of Khartoum oil refinery, he added.

Egyptian Petroleum Minister Says Oil Production Opens New Horizons For Sudan
Bashair, Aug. 31 (SUNA)- Egyptian Petroleum Minister, Hamdi Albanbi, underlined that a bright future was ahead for the Sudan which began its oil exportation on Monday, pointing out that he came to participate in Sudan's celebrations of this great accomplishment.
In a statement to the Sudan News Agency(SUNA), the Egyptian minister said Sudan has been exerting tremendous efforts to produce its petroleum.
He said he would take the opportunity to hold talks with his Sudanese counterpart Dr Awad Al-Jaz on consolidation of joint cooperation in the various domains.

Petroleum Exportation Would Give New Impetus To National Economy: Finance Minister
Bashair, Aug. 31 (SUNA)- Finance and National Economy Minister Dr. Abdel-Wahab Osman said the exports of the Sudanese petroleum would boost the national economy by providing additional financial resources.
He told the Sudan News Agency (SUNA) that these new resources would be used to effect social and human development, increase production and productivity as well as removing bottle necks in the economic development in the country.
He said the utilizatation of the Sudanese oil would bring in up to date technologies to the country a matter that would increase production and productivity of the existing factories as well as in the domain of agricultural production.

Wide Foreign Participation In Oil Celebrations Reflects Openness Of Sudan'S Relations
Bashair, Aug. 31 (SUNA)- External Relations Minister Dr. Mustafa Osman Ismail affirmed that the wide foreign participation from sisterly and friendly states and international companies and institutions in the Sudan's celebrations of the exportation of petroleum reflected the openness of Sudan's foreign relations.
The Minister said in a statement to SUNA that the inauguration of the Sudanese oil export was a historic day for the Sudan, on which the Salvation Revolution fulfilled its promise to the Sudanese people and brought about the oil dream into reality.
Dr. Ismail lauded the states and companies which supported the Sudan in the realization of the oil project.
Meanwhile , Dr. Ismail affirmed that the Sudanese foreign relations are progressing ahead, adding that the recent IMF decision considering Sudan a co-operating country demonstrated the progress of the Sudanese foreign relations.
