truman, it is a privilege to exchange ideas with someone who is a gentleman....there are so many ego filled people on some of these threads that automatically assume people are launching ad hominem attacks..... a couple of points....brinker himself has acknowledged that his gift horse calls are only followed by a very very small group of people and that he doesnt move markets...he calls general trends??.....he had callers last yr call him and ask him if he thinks he moves the market....his response was something like the total market value is $7 trillion dollars and i dont have access via radio etc. to even probably .1%.....this is my interpretation of the call....not his words.......in terms of percentages i dont know if his bearish call will cause a downdraft.....i think he will be ahead of his peers as usual....i have this gut feeling that the herd will preaching dow 7800+ when he says it may be time to take a defensive position at (7200-7400).....i could be dead wrong...but this is where brinker shines.....with his contrarian perspective...... what are your thoughts?? this could be an interesting point to analyze...... lars
