This year's Interscience Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy (ICAAC) Conference will be held in San Francisco from September 26th - 29th. ICAAC is the most important meeting of the year for researchers specializing in infectious diseases. As can be imagined, ICAAC contains data from studies of a plethora of diseases, including HIV, hepatitis B and C, influenza virus, and fungal and bacterial infections. Much of the data presented at ICAAC has important investment ramifications, as the companies attempt to portray the data from the studies of their compounds in the best light possible.
