I do some work for divorce lawyers evaluating the fair 401K split and very few that I look have many choices. Most small business employees have no choice. I am not sure choices make any difference since there are not enough good fund managers to go around these days. Over the last 30 years there has been a large power shift in this country with money moving to Washington and State Capitals to buy power, also the decline of our unions have contributed to this power shift. During the last economic down turn we saw some of the fall out of this shift. The taxpayer bailed out the good old boys. My generation just let this happen, but I hope we do a good job of educating the current generation to do something about this mess we have created. Maybe we need for this current system to collapse before something will be done. I hope not. Joan
