I think that is a closing all time high for qcom. When I saw he shorted it yesterday my eyes bugged out. No pro would have done it. It will have to get absolutely killed for him to come out of it with any small profit.

Here is some more info to help the qcom shorts feel real good. The company gave very obscure guidance on the next q at the e cc since they were in the midst of a stock offering to raise the float as required to be in the S&P. So they meet with the analysts on 9/9 to provide guidance. Chances are fair they will give guidance of 1.00+ for this q, giving them a pe of about 45 on current e pace, and maybe of 33 on next year possible e, with years of solid growth ahead if they can get some penetration in Europe. Eventually T goes with cdma which will cause another leg up when it happens. It's inevitable.

Boy, I bet it would be smart to bet every dime on a long term short position on Q.As a comparison, Nokia's market cap is 3.5X bigger than Q's. Of course Nok is going to crush Qcom with their superior technology and market positioning. Aren't they? ;>)
