greg...re: qcom leaps/calls short term view technically it is very overbought, but the unknown is the momentum/trading dynamic of the stock. fundamentals are not moving the stock.... i think at the moment it is a bit overvalued, it may catch up with itself in time...concern is when the momentum breaks.......ask those who thought it would never break and own aol,cmgi,ebay,amzn.......qcom not immune in an emotional market to see a 30%+ retrace...did 20% when it hit it's 165 high...history tends to repeat in a trading issue...5% range today....would consider writing calls on half my position, and if wrong ladder up with the other half...maybe too conservative?
