I agree that T is low, but in my own view of the future, if I had assets that T has, I wouldn't have pushed into cable so hard. We would have to start another thread to begin discussions on this but I just am not a big cable fan. Could they have bought csco after spinning off LU? How about grabbing another cellular company(Q)? Why didn't they become a huge ISP and do whatever needed to grab aol early on. They could have pushed dsl and made good money.(I know about the relationship with athm, of course).And would they have been allowed to move aggressively into the regional carriers? I don't know enough about them to know what makes sense and how much cement the government has put around their ankles. Maybe the cable push is the only area that made sense. It just seems so horribly regulated and I don't see it being the thing out 100 years. Gene, The market seems to agree with you now. The market seems focused on the retail long distance price wars????
