As a long time QCOM investor.. I am surprised that our paths have never crossed.. Hope you hold
some QCOM from it's old "natural home" @ $50.. I had been a trading long G* since my begining
fasination with QCOM several years ago... Look back through the messages of the last several months
on the GSTRF thread.. I was the one who found that QCOM applied for the trademark
"GLOBALTRACS" almost a year ago.. On the IRID thread I, debated Lawrence Cooper about G*/I*
technology... "Bent Pipe" vs "Sat interlinking".. TDMA/CDMA.. But now... With the BK of I*... It's now
a battle of Debt loads.. Look at Maurice on the SI thread.. Hell he started the GSTRF thread on SI..
Message #1.. Even he has lost faith in the market for G* services... Do you really believe that all of I*
problems were marketing/technical problems??? Try to find someone that did not see/ nor were
impressed with I* commercials.. Do you really believe that the "millions" of inquiries for I* were just
never followed up on???

Do you really believe that I* is just going to go away??? That there will be no debt/equity realignment??
That a fiscally re-aligned I* will not be able to "blow away" G*'s pricing structure??? Do people really
believe that a key advantage of G* is it's ability to integrate a cell phone and a sattelite phone?? The
MOT Iridium phone has this feature.

What about a G* TDMA/DAMPS version for the big revenue market of Latin /South America.. How
much IS-95/GSM is there in South America?? Chile/Peru... Pockets here and there...

What about all the "global roaming" agreements between foreign operators, this really hurt the Sat phone
business.. Would you disagree???

Can the G* system do a "Soft handoff".. or even a "Hard Handoff" between Terresterial and Sattelite
mode??? So what is this "Big" advantage that G* has.. We know it is not going to be price.. The phones
are slightly smaller... What is the advantage???

I know...it's because BS says it's different.. Like I said earlier... Look at the G* website... It says
"Anytime, Anywhere".. IT IS A LIE... Marketing mistake #1.

Good Luck,
PCSTEL
