John:

I did hear the news vaguely about INTC introducing a new videophone.
But I have not had the time to research it properly. Basically
as far as I know, the videophone had been around for the past 15 years.
All you need is a camera, and then sufficient processing capability
and quality to transmit that image/audio over a wire. INTC obviously
could provide the processing capability. However, all the cables
of today can transmit only analog (cost-effectively). Very few
consumers can afford ISDN, and very few organizations can afford ADSL
(very expensive). So as long as the cost does not comes down, the
product is not attractive.

I will look into this, if this is what I think which is lot of
expectations with results way out in the future, the hype may drive
the price of USRX down another 5-6 points and provide a buying
opportunity.

I am bearish on the semis except ATML for three months. The memory
market will suffer throughout the rest of the year. I would not
come close to MU or TXN.
