I just finished viewing the webcast about Sun's Star aquisition. VERY interesting. (Also long). Next Tuesday, expect to see some sort of thin-client announcement from Sun. It wasn't supposed to be leaked but an audience member knew something and so only vague references were made. Overall, it was a good discussion of technology outsourcing moving forward in the next few years. Ended with talk of upgrading to W2K and the nightmare of it. Still believe that's the killer app for thin-clients. BTW: George Gilder was in the audience. (Doug K.? You out there?)
