ROCHESTER, N.Y., Jan. 13 -- Frontier Corporation
(NYSE: FRO) has signed a multi-year, multi-million dollar
agreement with Catalyst Communications (Nasdaq: CLYC)
to provide prepaid calling card services for Catalyst's "Close

Frontier will utilize its state-of-the-art prepaid platform and

rolled-out in February. The Close Call prepaid cards will be
marketed at motorsport venues, through retail outlets and to
major corporations.

The 15-minute Close Call prepaid cards will feature a
scratch-and- win section. One in 15 cards will be a winner
with Catalyst offering a grand total of up to $60 million in
cash and prizes. Sixteen grand prize winners will be awarded
$250,000 and a new car.

"Frontier shares our ingenuity and desire to grow," said Carl
Smith, Sr., chairman and chief executive officer of Catalyst.
"We are impressed with Frontier's history and expertise in
this business. Together we will be introducing new and
exciting prepaid calling card products that will catapult both
companies to new heights."

As part of the agreement, the Frontier logo will appear on
vehicles and racing apparel of a number of popular
motorsport competitors including Brett Bodine in the
NASCAR Winston Cup Series races.

"NASCAR Winston Cup Series is the fastest growing sport
in the world with some of the most loyal fans in the world,"
added Smith. "We are capitalizing on this loyalty by launching
one of the most eye-popping promotions the world of
motorsports has ever seen."

In addition to the prepaid platform and network services,
Frontier will provide the operators, customer service and
technical support necessary to ensure the success of this
unique promotion.

"This is an innovative opportunity for Frontier to showcase its
expertise in the prepaid market and to target entirely new
segments of potential customers, including racing enthusiasts,"
said Kevin Bennis, president of Frontier Communications.
"Our ability to provide a wide range of integrated products
and services makes Frontier a very easy company with which
to do business. Our flexibility and responsiveness continues to
afford us tremendous partnership and marketing
opportunities."
