Well, I have seen women just open their shirts and attach baby right on the street, no shawl or even a nursing bra or even a gesture of thought for possible onlookers. It doesn't bother me, but I was a bit shaken the first time I saw someone behave in that fashion. So I can understand reactions such as Neocon's if this is the kind of behavior to which he is referring.

BTW, has anyone noticed that increasingly companies are providing private space for women who are at work to express milk for their babies?
