Company Press Release

American Millennium Corporation and South American Partner Showcase New SatAlarm At Security Trade Show

MOUNT DORA, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 1, 1999--American Millennium Corporation, Inc. (OTC BB: AMCI - news) announced today that DaneMax, Inc., its South and Central American partner in marketing AMCI's satellite technology, was demonstrating the applications of the new AMCI SatAlarm(TM) device as a watchdog over home security systems at the ISC International Safety Communications Show taking place at the Javits Center in New York City.

According to DaneMax President Max Leimer, several hundred thousand home security systems are sold each year in Central and South America. ``The problem arises,' said Leimer, ``when an intruder either cuts the phone line or turns off the power, thereby disabling the home security system. The SatAlarm(TM) can be installed to detect whenever phone lines are cut or a loss of power occurs in conjunction with an unauthorized entry. If that happens, the SatAlarm(TM) can send an alarm message to a security company as well as the authorities or anyone else who can receive a phone call, fax, e-mail or page.'

Leimer is exhibiting the device at the ISC show by demonstrating the alarm notification being sent when an attached phone line is cut, when power is removed, when an enclosure door is opened, and when a panic button is pushed. There is an on-board battery back-up to make the SatAlarm(TM) self contained, noted Leimer.

AMCI President and CEO Andrew F. Cauthen stated that ``We are excited about the prospect of not only retrofitting existing home security systems with our new SatAlarm(TM) product but also incorporating it into new installations. Home burglary is a multi-billion dollar business and we now are able to offer the home security industry a product that uses satellite technology to report a system being tampered with or disabled.'

Leimer was meeting with management of several security system companies including one that sells more than 200,000 home security systems every year in Central and South American, according to Cauthen.

``Suffice it to say, there is a tremendous industry interest in the element of surprise afforded by wireless notification of a burglary in progress when the thieves believe they have disabled the alarm system,' Leimer added.

The ISC Expo is the foremost international security conference and exhibition in the $38 billion security market, according to information posted on the Javits Center Internet website.

AMCI recently announced its rollout of the SatAlarm(TM) which uses satellite based technology to report a variety of conditions via data packet transfer. AMCI and DaneMax are in joint development of several initiatives in wireless communications in the South and Central American markets.

This press release contains forward-looking statements that involve risk and uncertainties that could cause the company's actual results and experience to differ materially from anticipated results and expectations expressed herein. In particular, AMCI's plans may be revised, and its actual results may differ materially from that indicated by its current plans.
