Hi Twister,
Unfortunately, I see Microsoft as currently missing an opportunity. In the internet space they should be working with SUNW. MSFT's technology has proven to be insecure and inadequate when it comes to the internet. Working with SUNW and Java, however, they could use their expertise in software development to create some great products. In fact, I think that eventually MSFT will see the wisdom of joining SUNW in the networking space. Clearly there will be a change in their business model for the internet, which may have lower but more realistic margins, but it's time that MSFT realize that a more cooperative approach will prove beneficial for everyone, including the consumer, society, and even themselves.
