Tere tulemast, Veiko! Good to see Estonian color here. According to today's "Kauppalehti" the earlier launch schedule you refer to no longer is in place. The newspaper writes that a Radiolinja executive now predicts commercial Globalstar service in Finland starting in the year 2000. It's the first interview of a mobile operator CEO that I've seen on the topic. This has just marginal interest, though - the size of the Finnish market is diminutive. Interestingly, the competing operator Sonera is still predicting ICO service to start next autumn. The Sonera guy talked vaguely about operators providing some financial assistance to ICO. He didn't seem too enthusiastic. I'd be a lot more interested in German and French news items on these subjects. Au secours, francophones. Tero
